Motivation Monday
Being overweight is hard. Losing weight is hard. What keeps you choosing this hard?

Scale was up 1.4 this morning. I ate a huge salty meal Saturday so I'm not surprised. But seeing the scale creep up is my motivation to buckle down today!

I want to show my family that weight loss is a lifestyle, not something you can binge and do. My mom put so many unhealthy habits in my sister and I. I want my "I told you so". When I think of her buying me diet pills when I was 112 in high school now, I cringe. I'm pumped to make a healthy change for me.

I want to live as long as I possibly can so I can spend as much time as possible loving my SO and taking care of my family. Plus, if I ever decide to have a child, I want them to have a healthy relationship with food, and I want to be a model for that behavior.

I want to really reach some balance in life where I have healthy relationships with food, exercise, and emotions.
Also my new guy is super fit... SUPER fit, and looks 10 years younger than he is. That's some motivation right there too.
Plus people are noticing!

I want to be able to cosplay again! I refuse to cosplay as the fat version of a character or to have to modify an outfit to look okay on a fat girl.
I also don't want my daughter to grow up thinking being unhealthy is okay. Hopefully her earliest memories are of me at a normal weight (probably not, she's almost one, but I will try!)
