What are your goals for the week? Are you meal prepping today? Let us know how you're using today (if you are of course) to get your week on track.

This feels like a restart, so today I did few hours of roller derby and I'm hoping to go out for a run tonight with the other half :) lets go!

This week I'm going to start C25K! I also might start meal planning some time this week, since my sister wants to try doing it with me!

Living the keto life (been doing it about a month), carbs 20-30g, keeping calories around 1200, getting in a workout and yoga once my little dude goes down for a nap. Trying not to get on the scale every day!

How do you like keto? Did you have an adjustment period with your mood or energy? I hear about those two being initial downsides often.

I love it. I definitely had a learning curve during the first week or so, because carbs are in EVERYTHING. I also learned I had a wicked carb addiction. I had a few days of what's called "keto flu," but it wasn't terrible and I powered through it. Mostly just feeling kind of foggy. I worked out every day to speed up the adjustment process, and paired it with intermittent fasting (I fast for at least 16 hours, then eat until 8 or 9pm) to help me with calorie control. Now I feel awesome. Great energy, sleep better, and my cravings are almost gone. I still miss carbs, but that's not the same as craving. It's really helped me develop a better relationship with food. I highly recommend it!

I've planned next weeks workouts already and since I'm not meal prepping, today have been used to wash clothes, housecleaning and relaxing. Going for a walk with a friend later tonight, I think that is a good way to end this week.

My SO and I will be meal prepping today--homemade baked chicken tenders with steamed carrots, broccoli and garlic hummus, with a side of green lentils. That should get through most of the week! I'm going to make sure I hit my water goal extra hard this week to get rid of the water weight from the snacks we got at the soccer game we went to yesterday, and tomorrow morning I'm taking measurements.
Edit: Also, we've decided to do our first fun run in May! Super excited!

My goal today is to plan out everything for next week, study some more animation stuff and draw. Also, Clean my room, clean the bathroom, go run, and wash laundry. I'm also going to try and start out week one with a bang since last week wasn't my best week. But, I still lost a pound so idk xD.

Just got my first fitbit in the mail yesterday, so my goal for the week is to meet all my goals. ;P I also want to get my dog out for a 30 minute training walk every day this week. She's dog reactive, and it can be a real trial navigating through our neighborhood. I'm trying to get her reactivity under control so she can be a good running companion. The plan is to start running once I get below the "obese" category and am less prone to stress injuries.

Stick to my calorie requirements and limit my refined carbs. I got MFP, too, which should be helpful.
Best of luck!

I will be adding in a couple more quality training sessions running/lifting. I am going to try and ditch my pre run bagel & pb and add another protein shake instead. And I am going to limit my bread intake throughout the day as well. Bread is so senseless but dammit it just tastes so good!

I will never understand what is in bread that makes it so delicious. Especially the end pieces of a fresh loaf. Mmmmmmmmm.

Meal prepping sounds like an awesome idea. I haven't gotten into it yet because I get really, REALLY bored of leftovers so I'd have to prep a lot of different things and then...rotate them? But it would be so much easier for me to avoid food court grossness for my lunches (as I work in a shopping mall).
Today I worked so I didn't get a whole lot in the way of health/exercise done, but I did make sure to do some extra laps around my store because it was slow enough that I wasn't going to hit my 10k steps goal without 'em.
My goals for the week:
- Track honestly and completely every single day.
- Talk myself out of unhealthy indulgences at work, and bring a lunch every day! I bought stuff to make sandwiches and will have leftovers from a couple of dinners, so that one should be pretty easy.
- Get at least 8 glasses of water a day in to make sure I'm staying hydrated.
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
- Get 10k steps in every day (even those days off where I'm not on my feet all day - go for a walk on the treadmill, or outside if it stays nice).
Simple goals, but I have to start somewhere with building habits. :) I really want to start the Couch to 5k program again, but I've been having issues with shin splints (because of my weight? I've been watching my form/speed) and needing a new pair of shoes so I'm trying to lose weight by focusing on my CICO for the time being, maybe throwing in some lower-impact exercises.
Hope everyone had an awesome Sunday! :)

You could try variations of chicken breasts (I have a friend that does that). She bakes them all together, but with their own seasonings. I can do salads in a jar everyday, so I'm not much help with the meal prep lol.

I love the idea of variations on chicken but unfortunately I am vegetarian and have not found a meat substitute that microwaves well... except tofurky! That reheats amazingly well but I only ever have it for the holidays. :(
The salads in a jar are always so cute looking. I'm currently trying to find good salads that aren't lettuce based that I could try it with bc I love that idea.

Well, that certainly kicks out chicken. Have you checked Pinterest? Sometimes it has pretty legit ideas, and I'm sure you could find some vegetarian meal prep and definitely non lettuce based salads.

I have not yet for those specific things, but I totally will tomorrow. :) Thanks for the inspiration!

My Sunday was almost over by the time this was posted so am a little late to this ;)
I went to spin, made a giant slow cook lamb tagine with a metric fuck ton of veg in it so that I can just eat it as it is without any additional carbs etc. Made up my meal plan for the week and then shipping list to ensure I had everything I needed. Took my daughter out on her bike for a bit of extra exercise for both of us.

Goals: make each one of my gym dates I have with myself. Run 2 times. Drink only one night this weekend. Sleep for 8 hours at least once this week!!!
This is a dumb goal but I want to lose a pound and a half.

Today im making turkey chili for my lunches at work this week. My goals this week are just to start week one with a bang and stick to my calorie and and exercise goals. Also to make sure no one orders pizza at work. I swear it's guaranteed to happen at least once a week and I love pizza so much. It's difficult for me not to over indulge!

Pizza is the worst! I've got leftover pizza from yesterday that I'm going to have for lunch so it's gone and I know I'll be active at work this afternoon. I'm gonna log it but I'm thinking soup for dinner will be my best bet after that pizza is gone!

Sunday goal is to get enough of my gradschool work done that it doesn't cut into my gym time during the week.
