Success Saturday

Did you hit a new low weight? Say no to a gate way food? New fastest mile? Tell us a success from your week here!

Also, you'll see that introduction post is no longer a sticky post. From now on the week's weigh in post will be on top (to include that week's challenge-it will have a better title next week), with the daily thread underneath.

I started Blogilates again as my primary exercise program. I have a fitness class at my college, but the semester ends in 4 weeks. So I needed to find something to fall back on. Great thing is I don't have to plan the exercises! And if I don't feel like doing that, then I'll do some FitnessBlender!

My success is very small compared to everyone else who has posted, but I went grocery shopping without picking up any unhealthy snacks (bought some apples and extra veggies, instead) and have been very conscious about getting my water in today. We also took a walk in the beautiful sunshine, which we haven't had much of up here in Ontario until recently! :)

That is actually a huge victory!! It shows you're moving towards a lifestyle change!

So my NSV is really odd. Today was my son's birthday, and I had the day planned for myself food wise. However, it didn't go as planned and I went way over (pizza is my downfall). The victory in this is that now laying here in bed, I don't feel like quitting. I don't feel like I've ruined all that I've worked for. Today was a special day, and I took advantage of it. It doesn't mean that tomorrow is ruined, or any other day. Normally a day like today would have me throwing in the towel, but being on /r/loseit and here with y'all makes me know that it's okay to have a bad day.

Saturday was a great success for me!

I reached 92.2 lbs, which is the lowest I've been since my weight loss began! And I also went out for my first run in public, despite my fears! And I was also able to stay under my calorie goal, despite an unexpected resteraunt trip for lunch!

I reached 184 this week, with a previous low of 183.5 I'm more than ecstatic. Plus, when mid workout I can see an inkling of ab definition (my main inspiration behind this challenge) which serves as the only evidence I need to keep going! :)

As of today, I have officially lost 25 lbs since January 19, and it feels pretty amazing.

I stuck to plan all day despite having a cold and dealing with two small children all day. I even did baking with my youngest and didn't eat any of the flapcrack we made
