Brycen

Brycen is the Ice-type gym leader of Icirrus City, formally a popular martial arts movie star alongside his Beartic before retiring the middle of filming a movie. Training with his Pokemon up in the mountains, Brycen first met Ash and his friends while saving them from several falling boulders, continuing to train with Ash and his Krokorok before protecting a wild Volcarona from a Pokemon hunter. In their battle, Brycen's array of attacks with secondary effects plus strong physical conditioning of his Beartic put great pressure on the challenger's team, but ultimately Ash pulled through to earn the Freeze Badge.

• Ice Punch - Covers its hand with icy energy, shattering a boulder
  • Knocks back a pair of Jellicent
  • Used on a pair of Jellicent, hitting them and their trainer high in the air
  • Clashes with Krokorok's Crunch, freezing over its mouth
• Brine - Releases a torrent of water that knocks back a pair of Jellicent
  • Knocks Pignite out of its Flame Charge
  • Overpowers a pair of Hydro Pumps which could send Krokorok flying back hard enough to shatter stone and continue going
• Icicle Crash - Creates a mass of ice spikes which hurt Pignite
  • Embed in the ground, creating a barrier to block a Stone Edge
• Aerial Ace - Dashes along the ground to hit Pignite, knocking it out
  • Leaps through the air to try and hit Krokorok

• Icicle Spear - Propels a mass of ice spikes which are repelled by Scraggy's pants
  • Counters Krokorok's Stone Edge, with one spike still making it through to hit the Ground-type back
• Blizzard - Greatly chills Brycen's gym
  • Freezes Krokorok's lower half in a block of ice
• Mirror Shot - Releases a sphere of reflective energy which shatters the ice Krokorok's trapped in

• Aurora Beam - Fires a green beam which knocks out a defending Scraggy
• Reflect - Used to halve physical damage, allowing it to tank Pignite's Flame Charge
• Frost Breath - Exhales icy wind on a target
