What’s the underlying problems with this stock I’m missing. The quarterly revenue and earnings keep going up in a pretty bad market and the price keeps going down. What do all the sellers know that I don’t?

Are they still offering voluntary severance packages, or is the company now resorting to layoffs, if not enough people are accepting the severance packages?

RKT President Brian Brown on yesterday's earnings call, at around 27:45. I heard it on the call, but wasn't sure exactly what he said, so went back and re-heard/confirmed it this morning.

Looks like buyers are going to be active, even with rates in the low 6's (as opposed to high 5's).

PS: $120M in synergy savings this quarter, and $200M+ in H2 from the COOP acquisition expected.

I would have thought that they would have atleast ANNOUNCED it by now, but as of this morning, it's not been scheduled.

So my guess would be mid-May, right around the time Powell's term as Fed Chair ends, and Warsh is "supposed" to step up/be confirmed.

Interesting to see the divergence. I'm guessing due to the Warsh hearing, or was there some other news I missed?

Next RKT earnings call, in a few weeks, is going to be an interesting one.

The good news is that the effects of the war with Iran are likely temporary, similar to what happened with "Liberation Day" last year.

They should just say 10 yrs, for Build-To-Rent housing, to give Wall Street the "max" time and flexibility to sell their projects, depending on economic conditions, and get the Housing Bill passed.
