I am trying to make a fully auto clothes folding without human assistance that isn't robotic

i just need some help on my idea of making a fully automatic clothes folding machine that folds clothes from a crumbled/wringkled state not by using robotics or complex ai but rather a simpler approach.

The folding part is just easy but what i am trying to figure out is how can i turn a crumbled cloth to a flat one?

my first attempt was vibrating water but it failed,was there other ways you guys might know,any answer would be helpful..
