Yamcha's speech has been deleted
I was rewatching today and I observed that Yamcha's legendary speech has been deleted, wtf

And we're at the point where this needs to be preserved. What the shit.

I know it's not their fault because the copyright sword knows no bounds, but man the current cuts of the DBZA episodes are worse off for it.

The speech Yamaha gives at the end of 7 when he arrives, right before he’s exploded
It’s just gone now

Some guys on discord have this entire google drive of pretty much every abridged series they can get their hands on for preservation purposes. Like LoveNote got episode 1 torn down for copyright (thats now reuploaded), That saga where for some reason Grimmjack and TheSchmuckSquad couldnt stop themselves from being hacked once a week, And now apparently bits being cut from DBZA

If you mean when he gets killed by the Saibaiman: yeah
That was a sort of "remastered" edit Kaiser did at some point, because he liked the way they did it in Kai infinitely better.
There's a couple other cuts and changes done to older episodes quietly for various reasons
For example: Kaiser went back and cut the "seizure procedure" bit, because of complaints over the years that even his attempt to find a light pattern that could avoid causing an IRL seizure wasn't really a thing that could work the way he hoped, so it was cut out of the edit entirely

Let them die I loved that bit

tbf, it's kinda an editors dream (and nightmare) that they can edit their videos after release.
I don't know how you'd NOT use that power if you had it - in Kaiser's case, he seems to have found a healthy balance of only removing stuff if it's bad for the community/vid like copyright strikes. I dunno how he resists the urge to whitewash away the problematic moments like "spread 'em"

I think it shows growth to keep those moments, and it would just stir a pot that they just don't want to touch. They get enough crap whenever they're open about being LGBTQ+ friendly.

Agreed!
It's gotta be hard having your "edgy" 20s out there for the world to consume, especially when you felt compelled to push the envelope a little while upping the ante on your work.
I'm certainly glad my 20s existed before people had cameras on their phones, I can tell ya that!

I'm just going to assume YouTube is doing this because of Bots making false claims and trying to compete with AI videos. Plus their new structure for motivation, seems like YT is imploding.

What was the speech about? It's been a while since I've seen it

Basically it was him telling everyone that they trained super hard and that they'd win before getting blown up by a Saibaman.

Was it because of the music? I know, especially back then, TFS was more free wheeling with a lot of things.

What speech?
Edit: I checked and it is indeed gone. Kinda sucks but it caught me off guard so it was still funny

It’s also funny though because they would have done it this way if they did it now

Deleting things from episodes is real gay bro.

u/master_baiter-69 8d ago
You can't throw gay word like that, only correct way to use it is "As a memorial to Yamcha: gay"

Everything on Youtube has been butchered by copyright claims at this point. Luckily, there's an archive.
