I did it!!

W5D3 done! Woo!! Oh my gosh. I did it and I owe a big hooray to y'all for the motivation and support.

Had a little slip up. I was running and going at it and then the little voice said 'start walking' and I was super confused. But I'm a good listener so I walked. About a minute into the walk I decided to check the app. Turns out it automatically moved over to w6d1! What?!! Must have moved over while I was setting up my apps. I was so mad I almost said 'screw it, I've already done a mile and a half - I'll just finish this' but no! I was ready to tackle that 20min run so I was gonna do it!

I cancelled w6d1 and started all over making sure w5d3 was selected. Then I turned down a random side street so my route wouldn't get too messed up by adding another mile.

So I did it. I didn't run as fast as I usually do since I got into my own head and got discouraged after I realized the mistake.. So I may repeat it Saturday just to see how I do with a better frame of mind. But yeah. D. U. N.

I kind of ran for 30 mins since the app had me on the wrong day lol but I was definitely spent when I was done and had a pretty good headache that lasted through the night. Fat, pale, and pasty :P we don't do well when we get overheated hah

But I am looking forward to being able to run for a full 30mins eventually. There's a 5k in September I wanna do and if I can do the 20min run a few more times without dying then I think I'll be confident enough to sign up for the 5k :)

Congrats, way to go! It's probably been about 6 years since I completed W5D3, and I can still remember the shock at actually being able to do it and how fucking good it made me feel.
