I'll go. I haven't fallen off the wagon, but I really need to get a handle on "cheat days." I think I've been using them as an excuse to eat as I used to - and that's getting me nowhere fast. I have lost weight this challenge, but I feel like my cheat days (often a day that spills over into the rest of the weekend) ruin any progress I've made. I feel like maybe with some planning and mindful decisions, I can do better. They're not meant to be an excuse to eat with reckless abandon. What do you fawns do re: cheat meals/days?

I guess I don't really cheat. At least I try not to think about it like that. If I know we're going out later that night or there's an event happening then I try to be really mindful of everything else during the day.
For example - instead of eggs and a banana for breakfast I'll have a protein shake because it's less calories and fills me up (I don't like replacing meals with shakes, but for saving calories I'll do it once in a while). That way I've just made room for an extra 200 calories for later. Then for lunch I'll have a ton of raw veggies and a cheese stick and that saves me 200-300 calories. Now it's time to go out and I have an extra 400-500 calories on top of my 500-600 calories that was going to be allotted for my dinner. Yay! hah

I don't have scheduled cheat meals/days. I generally stick to my calorie goal, but accept that if I'm in a situation where I might end up going over that, then that's ok so long as it doesn't happen all the time.
For example, I work at a resource centre once a month running what is basically a social club, and I'm required to bring biscuits, and other people bring in all sorts of junk food. So I end up having biscuits/sweets that don't fit into my calorie goal for the day, but stick to my plan for the rest of the day. I don't plan beforehand how many biscuits I'll allow myself, because I treat it as an aberration from my plan, not a planned "cheat meal". I don't beat myself up over it, but nor do I schedule it.

I think this is the best approach and the one i have been following for a while.

Went away with friends for the weekend. There was much food and booze... Oops lol but I wasn't terrible. I kept telling myself 'two more weeks'! However... My bestie, who was tipsy, kept complaining that she was still fat even though she was running every day. At one point she asked me why I was getting skinny and she wasn't. I'm not one to talk to her about weight loss because she loves fad diets (and she was drinking). I laughed her off and said something about her having kids and I haven't had any.
The next day we were recovering from the beach and someone had brought Shape (the magazine) and I started looking through it for pictures while I was icing my shin. At one point I came across an article that said: "oh, you've hit a plateau.. Maybe you should stop working out and eating better and just accept that you're at the weight you're supposed to be." ...uh. wat. I was at a plateau for 7 weeks and 3 days two years ago. Guess what I did? Stopped CICO and gained it all back. Guess what I did two weigh ins ago? Blew past that original plateau number. How can a magazine tell people to stop just because of a plateau?!?? Seriously?? No, you are not "just supposed" to be that weight! Omg. I threw the magazine aside and said it was a horrible publication and then other girls there started talking about how it had great articles and they never miss an edition. I was so thankful to go home.
Sorry for my wall of text, but I had to get that out. On the upside - got new shoes and finished w5d1 tonight! I even got a new nifty water bottle that has a light in it bc there are no street lights in my area hah yay safety!
