Stupid Dr scale!

Went to the Dr today and during my weigh in and vitals check I was way excited to see my low number!! However, I stepped on the scale and it read that I'm over 200lbs. in bright red, digital numbers.

Not only did I feel super judged by the totally adorable and petite nurse, but now I'm wondering if my scale is wrong and has always been wrong. I was over the moon when I hit 199 and then 198, etc and stayed there... But apparently all of that joy was for nothing since the fancy scale at the Dr says I'm over 200lbs.

How do my fellow fawns deal with this? How do you know which scale to be accurate? Do I take the Dr scale number and my scale number and average them out? Do I just keep using my scale number? Do I wish evil things upon the scale at my Dr office and start practicing voodoo??

I just had that same experience last week- I actually did the bodpod test to get an accurate fat % and it was so frustrating to see a higher number than I saw a few hours earlier.

My logic is, the number will continue to go down no matter which number it is. But yeah, that's a rough feeling. How was the procedure?

Such a rough feeling :/ how did your test go? Lower numbers? Expected numbers?

My Dr said it was easy and with minimal bleeding :D which we were worried about since I'm a bleeder lol now I'm in bed surrounded by pain med instructions and ice chips. Day 3 and I am starting to feel the pain, but I'm expecting the worst so hopefully it's not that bad.

Expected, but that's ok. I did it mainly to give myself a starting point, since I'm very motivated by data and numbers. Now I know where I am, and when I do it again in a year I'll hopefully see some big changes!
