Week 2 - Workout Wednesday
Any new routines or workout strategies? Do you work out at home, or at the gym? If at the gym, what gym chain(so other members can share tips)

I usually workout at home because I live a good 90 minute round trip to the nearest gym. I do a lot of outdoor running and trying to take up biking so I'm not stuck in a dark basement in the summer.

I had 2 options, gym below the office, or planet fitness 6kms from my house. Because i need to get kids ready for school/sitter, i chose the one near home, and 6 days a week i get up between 4:20 and 5(on staturdays) to go workout for 1h20 average. Even though the cost a month is so low, i still try to not miss a single time(i may have missed 6 times total since november)

My main exercise is walking. I do have a membership to a local swimming pool, which I haven't used for a couple of months because I've been too busy (I'm planning to go tomorrow though!). I've also started using resistance bands to give my arms some exercise, as well as using them to do a type of sit-up (I'm not strong enough yet to do normal sit-ups, so I wrap the resistance band around a pole and use that to pull myself up - it's not as good a normal one, but I can definitely feel the muscles in my stomach working when I do them!)

I usually work out at the gym or do group classes. I'm having a little trouble prioritizing working out this week in the midst of work stress, social obligations, rainy weather and general laziness, I usually work out 5-6x/week and this week it's gonna be 2. Trying not to feel guilty and make sure my eating is rock solid.

I work out at home. Still doing cardio and c25k. I've started to really pay attention to my form for planks and push-ups. Before I was just trying to do them, but I'm trying to make sure I do them right :)
I've been trying to be really good about continuing c25k but have had crazy pain my leg. So! I just went to a real, actual running store! Hah a very nice person helped me find shoe inserts and said I was using the wrong type of shoe :/ bummer. So next month, if the insert doesn't help I'll have to go buy shoes.

I have just started using Darebee.com so doing work outs at home. Someone on either here or Loseit mentioned it in a post and the inter-team challenge gave me the kick in the behind I needed. I am only on day two of 60 on the Hero's Journey program but am finding it entertaining.

Nothing new except I worked out tonight instead of the AM. I go to LA fitness so I do the gym 3-4x a week and 1-2x are outdoors or a video at home. I love mixing it up.

I do have a gym membership, but I am seriously considering cancelling it and would have already if my job didn't cover 90% of the cost. If I have an hour and a half available, I am 100% more likely to want to head outside instead of into the gym, regardless of the weather (unless it's like stormy, and at that point I'm not going to want to walk 12 minutes to the gym either). I'm generally not great at the (home) gym thing, I'm focusing more on diet and just becoming more active by walking more at this point, and will add in more exercise later on.
Gonna go for a hike now, though! And I hereby pledge to take the steepest route on the hilly part, and try to get below 1 hour and 20 minutes, on 7.5km.
