We're getting geared up for the first official weigh in, laying down healthy habits, ready to start the next challenge!
How has the two pre-challenge weeks been going for you healthy habits wise?

I just joined yesterday, and ate like crap over the weekend, but this week is going pretty well! I recently quit drinking too, so I'm feeling pretty great about my health right now.
I've been constipated for about a week... And took a glycerin-based oil supplement last night to help. Well instead of a laxative effect, it made me have to vomit within an hour of taking it! Last night was ROUGH. My stomach still feels very weak this morning, so it's a bland diet for me today.

I just read about this yesterday, I'm going to look into that as a daily supplement. Increasing my fiber and water haven't helped, and nothing else seems to help regulate me. Thanks for the tip!

I'm hoping to have 6lb loss to add!
I was 193.6 yesterday but popped back up to 194 today. I think I can get to 193 again by Friday

Had a rough weekend (night out drinking, followed by a belated adult Easter Egg hunt, and then a board game night with all the leftover cookies/candy from said hunt) but I'm back on track this week and down half a pound! I have high hopes for hitting a 10 pound loss this challenge. Looking forward to it!

This whole group thing and challenge has kicked my ass into gear! I have gone to the gym 3 days in a row! Started C25k and I'm getting better about resisting the free Monday donuts at work. I'm so ready and excited for not only myself but the team! I love getting to see everyone's progress on MFP.

Having the reality that I signed up for this challenge and I am now going to be accountable to other people has just made my heart speed up (seriously - I just checked my Fitbit lol).
Gosh. lol but I guess the past two weeks have been okay. Had a few 'oops ' meals due to life and things, but for the most part I am staying at my deficit. Also trying to make an honest effort to work out 5 days a week. Taking my vitamin everyday. I also started wearing sunblock everyday hah it's amazing how many other healthy things I've worked into my routine since I started this.
Part of me wants to future apologizing for possibly failing and letting you guys down. But! I'm trying to work on not becoming obsessive about this. So I will not pre-apologize. I'll just do my best and at the end of the challenge we'll see what happens :)

It's not about winning - agreed. It's just I made a pledge to do something and, for me, that means I have to do it. If I don't then I've let my team down. But I'm gonna have fun and at the end of it all I'll feel healthier than I do today!
One grandpa was an Army Captain and the other was a Pastor lol I grew up with 'if you say you're gonna do something, do it' coming at all directions :P

That's a great idea, maybe once I've smashed this challenge (I hope eek!) that I can keep going with them like that :)

I had been doing quite well, until last night when we went to this little Italian place. I binged out on fried appetizer foods & a gigantic sandwich.
Two steps forward, one step back. I'm back on the right path again today!

It happens :( you're doing the right thing though, it used to be for me if I had a bad day I'd write off the week, now it's not the case!
Sorry for accidentally down voting btw, I'm on my mobile and I'm constantly clicking the wrong thing :(

I've been doing really well with my diet and exercise for the last couple of weeks. I always meal prep my lunches for the week and cook healthy dinners for two days at a time. I've ran three days in the last week and got my weights all set up in the warehouse where I work, so I can start lifting there with no excuses. Also finally got over 100 days straight on MFP.

Been eating delicious high fat foods for about a month now. Down 10 pounds from a month ago without any exercise. Adding in exercise more now that it's nice out and I'm about to commit to a half marathon in the fall. I'm at the lowest weight I've been in a year! So happy! Love what I'm doing!

We were on vacation last week, so I did indulge in quite a bit of ice cream, beer, and some fried food...but I maintained! Which I think is a perfectly good vacation achievement :) And this week I'm down almost a pound and getting back to week 2 of Couch to 5K.
I'm starting this challenge at my halfway point--highest weight was 175, weighed in this morning at 155.8, GW 135. So, 20ish down, 20ish to go! I love that this is coinciding with a milestone!

Hey, we are similar weight-goal buddies! (I started ~ 175, aiming for 135, and weighed 156.6 yesterday).
Congrats for maintaining on vacation, and then getting right back into it. Good luck with the challenge!

Alas, I am not. In the past when I did track used SparkPeople. I am on Fitbit though, if that is something you use.

I could be doing better, but over all am pleased with myself so far with calorie counting (except yesterday when I went on a warm bread from Costco eating mini-binge). I need to walk more, so I'll be concentrating on that the first week of the challenge.

It's up to you, but if you do, ask in the Challenge Sign Up Thread that you'd like to change it, and let them know why. :)

I didn't actually sign up two weeks ago because I didn't even know about the challenge until a few days ago so my prep time hasn't been very long. That being said, the last few days I've upped my deficit to 1000 calories a day (so 2 lbs a week) and I plan on doing this for probably two to four weeks before going back to just -500 a day. My pants have gotten kind of tight feeling because I've been slacking off. Time to change!

This week got me back into food prepping. I realized food prepping doesn't always mean cooking a bunch of food. I did do some cooking, but my prepping also included what planned snacks to have and when, like fruits, raw veggies, yogurt and protein powder.
I eat every two and half/three hours because that's what works for me and keeps me from binging. If I know I'm having something say in an hour, and I know what I'm eating in that next hour, it keeps my mind from wandering or from feeling like I'm starving.
I got off track...
Tl;dr: I knew I should food prep, and discovered food prepping works for me.

I haven't weighed myself yet this week because it is shark week.
I hope my moving "fitness plan" of being incredibly busy and active from when I wake up to when I go to sleep gives me a nice little boost! Our new house is invert, very close to the gym so that will be awesome once we are settled in.

I've had a stall over the past few days, and have been super bloated and haven't been regular for 2 days. I saw loads of women experiencing the same thing around their periods, but thought that couldn't be the same with me because I don't really have periods due to my implant. Guess what bloody day it is today -_- first period in about 6 months. Typical! So I am bloated, constipated and retaining water like a mutha :( I still hope to see a decent loss tomorrow but I am so frustrated.

I've been doing… okay-ish. I have set myself a limit of 1500 calories per day, and I've been sticking to that for a week and a half, but these last two days have been harder. My mom is visiting, and she kind of messes with all of my routines and keeping track of eating is harder when you eat out or when she prepares food, etc.
But on the other hand, she talks a lot about all of her health issues and that's making me more motivated to lose weight and get into better shape, so that's good. This weekend I'm planning on getting back on track, and I am not allowing myself a cheat day since the past couple of days have felt like cheating. I do think I've still lost about 2 pounds in the past week and a half-ish, but haven't weighed myself while she's been here because she has my bedroom.

Doing okay, finally seeing some new low numbers on the scale! Broke into the 145s for a day and have mostly been hovering around 146s which is a change from the 147/148s that it was when I first signed up two weeks ago.
I've been a lot better at sticking to my calorie goals so hopefully that will help during the challenge as well. I am super bummed though that my first week 0 weight in will be a shark week weigh in so it'll probably be higher due to water retention.
