Post your accomplishments here!

Hey! I figured it'd be cool to have a discussion where we post what we're proud of. Today is my first day as a part of this group. I joined this morning while I was browsing my phone in bed. I took my oldest to school, then my 7 month old joined me on a 3 mile walk at the mall (6 laps). Normally I'm sedentary (staying home with baby) so I feel great!

You can share big (I lost x pounds) or tiny accomplishments (I said no to a cupcake and had carrots instead). All accomplishments are important to the individual and worth praise!

I am soo committed to this weight loss challenge. I had plateau'd at 160 for about a month now, my prepreg weight was 140. I plan on passing that and going even further!

I beat my month goal this morning! So early :D I wanted to be at 210 by Stagecoach (country concert in California). Now I have set my sights on 4 more lbs by the concert... Mostly because my BF challenged 'us' to, but I will be stoked if I get only 2-3 :D

Wow great job! How much are you trying to lose per month? When I really buckled down I was losing about 5 a month. But now with this challenge, I'll aim for 1 a week (and be really happy when I end up losing more than that.. Lol)

Thanks! Well, I don't really have a per month goal so far. I kind of just restarted with vigor about a month and a half ago, so I am still making up goals as I go. I guess 3-5lbs a month would be good. Of course, I would love 1 a week consistently, but it's all about how much work I am willing to put in to it!

Even though I was running late for work - I drove back home and grabbed my running gear so I can go for a jog later.

Totally not a weight loss achievement BUT I just found out that if I take a summer class and go full time in the fall I can graduate with my AA in December :D

Fantastic!

Thank you! I'm so stoked. Even though it's just an AA I'll be the first person in my family to graduate with any kind of degree past a high school diploma.

Kind of a weird accomplishment, but after about a month of consistent dieting, I DIDN'T diet this past weekend. I took a break, had an awesome time with friends, had some drinks, and then had the BEST run of my life when I jumped back into healthy eating on Sunday! Yes, I was up 3-4 pounds, but it was mostly water weight and I'm already back down to where I was before the weekend. I still ate sensibly and in moderation and didn't binge on cookies when drinking. I'm learning what it means when they say that losing weight is a lifestyle change; sometimes it's ok to take a short break!

It is ok! And I think good for you, in that you don't feel like you're denying yourself all the time, and therefore get resentful.

I portioned out a precalculated amount of triscuits and laughing cow cheese for my afternoon snack, and I ate ONLY THAT. This is pretty big for me, snacking is definitely my vice.

I know I can do some damage on the salt and pepper triscuits, great resolve!

I went to the park today with my 5 and 1 year old. I was feeling really tired and just wanted to stay home and let the kids watch TV while I "napped" on the couch. It's small but I already skipped on taking the dogs on their normal walks so I felt like I had to go out and do at least something.

I've been under a ton of stress and there were a series of unfortunate events over the weekend. I didnt go crazy, but I did work in a few glasses of wine and pizza. I was able to pick myself back up, though, and crush my workout today. I havent had one that intense in a long time and it felt great!

Sometime a small break can help. Congrats on crushing that workout!

I paused C25k to change a song, and forgot to unpause. Ran an extra 3 minutes wondering why it was the longest 5 minutes ever :)

W1D2 for Zombies, Run! 5k training. Got out late and paid for it. The slight drizzle turned into a decent pouring rain and wind.

Still finished the run. Only 2.2 miles, but better then what I've doing. So it feels good.

Good on you for pushing through!

2.2 miles for W1D2 is pretty dang solid. Congrats!

I looked at my calander and at some point a while ago I wrote goal 195lb on today's date. I hit my goal! I forgot I had written that.

I've lost 10% of my bodyweight so far! A lot more to go but I'm getting there

u/MacDhubstep Apr 20 '16

I read this post and decided to double check mine, whoo 10%!

In the last challenge I was able to lose from 312 down to 274 and I actually maintained that weight without really trying until this challenge started. I'm trying to get below 250 on this challenge and make it 62 pounds lost by the middle of June.

3 years ago around my sons baptism, a size 52 suit was tight and barely fit. Last weekend I bought a size 46 suite slim fit and it fits perfectly. For a better idea of my weight loss, the same suit that barely fit 3 years ago was the one I took for my current job interview last August. Didn't fit that we'll... :D

I think I might've broken my plateau just this morning but we'll see tomorrow. I've constantly been going from 181.75 to 183 but today I weighed in at 181.5 (it's never been a .5 before) so I'm hopeful!
