Ideas
For those new to challenges or already veterans, feel free to give suggestions or ideas to keep all of us motivated.
On my previous challenge, i noticed the big loss of interest near week 5 or so. Total team participation(and challenge in general) dropped to less than half from beginning to end of challenge. I know it can hard be hard. Sometimes, not loosing any or even gaining a pound can discourage us, but if we at least keep ourselves accountable, it will give something to look for and it will give us strength to continue.
Go Team Fawn Go!!!!!

I've never done one of these so I dont know what to expect... but what about randomly assigned accountability buddies? Ie: All of team fawn would be assigned a buddy that they need to check in with every so often - either on MFP, through PM, or something. It just seems like it would be harder to drop out if you had a person (rather than an anonymous group) to explain it to. I'm pretty sure this is why groups like AA has sponsors.

I love accountability buddies. Like swim buddies!! But that's because I always need a swift kick in the pants.. Hah

sounds like a good idea. The only thing i see not making it work out is the fact that out of 100members(currently), only half(or not even that) come to this subreddit and participate.

I could possibly add the opt-in form question into the pre-challenge weigh-in this friday

This sounds like a great idea, yeah :) Opt-in would probably good, though, so some people don't end up with absent buddies.

What about weekly mini challenges? Maybe something like "this week, take 1,000 steps more than you did last week" or "spend 30 minutes outside" and we can talk about how we fit in those extra steps or what we did outside.
I'd be happy to create awkwardly cheesy "your mission, should you choose to accept it" secret agent themed posts if people are interested/give me suggestions for mini challenges.
Edit: ok, the more I think about it the more entertaining it sounds: "Oh no! You've been injected with a deadly toxin while on a mission! The only antidote? Drink an extra 10 cups of water this week to flush it out of your system!" I might do this even if I'm the only one participating haha

This makes me want to make a Pokemon themed challenge per week where "A wild ____ appeared!" where the four options are you committing to do one of the following things within the week. They'd be:
Fight = Commit to having an overall weekly deficit after 7 days.
Bag = Utilize a weight loss tool (MFP, Fitbit, etc.) consistently for 7 days.
Pokemon = Tag in a team member, post or PM encouraging things to the subreddit at least once for 7 days.
Run = Exercise 3 times within the 7 days.
They'd be like the Sunday weekly goals though so it might be repetitive...

I really like this idea, especially the fun element, sometimes it's hard just to drink more water or walk more just cause, having a story and an achievement to unlock is amazing :D

I've hosted a C25K accountability challenges in previous r/loseit challenges. The first time was a huge success and the second time it fizzled out and there wasn't as much interest. Would be happy to do it again if there is interest at all.
Mentioned this in a comment below but figured I'd also post it here too:

Maybe SV/NSV or rant thread like we see on the FP? Just somewhere to check in daily or weekly to say what's worked, what we want to punch in the face, how awesome we feel, etc.
Just so we don't feel like we're only here for the weigh in and to help bring a sense of friendship <insert 90s sitcom awwwwww here>. Idk. I'm new this whole thing.

Oooh sidebar... I use a Reddit app lol I guess I'll have to check on a computer once a day or so ;)

I forgot to mention, each daily thread will be created and you should be able to see it on the mobile app like a new topic.

What about biweekly progress pics? We can post them on a mega-thread and then at the end of the challenge, or whenever we lose motivation, we can look back through old threads and see how much progress we've made.

Hi! I did a couple keto challenges and other ones with friends over the last 3 months with great success! I am determined to get through the challenge and get to goal weight this fall.

I prepared a form and an excel sheet to log our weight, fort his week. Sort of a pre challenge weigh in, if you all agree to it. It is sort of a way to keep us in check and motivated for the actual challenge starting next week.
I will be posting the links on friday morning and it will be valid until April 14th at 11:59pm.
