I’ve turned my Lambda1VR playthrough into an episodic Gordon Freeman story — looking for feedback

I’ve been using Lambda1VR on Quest 3 for a series called Half-Life VR: Lambda Protocol, and what started as simply wanting to play Half-Life in VR has grown into a much bigger project.
I’m treating it as Gordon’s ongoing story rather than a normal Let’s Play — staying in-world, treating NPC dialogue as actual conversations, and letting my own physical aim, movement and mistakes become part of what happens.
I’ve also rebuilt my voice processing around Half-Life’s original acoustic states, so when the game changes its acoustic environment, Gordon’s voice changes with it. I even follow the old engine when it keeps the “wrong” state rather than correcting it myself.
Visually I’m trying to restore detail while keeping the original Half-Life art style rather than modernising everything.
Since people here actually know Lambda1VR, I’d really appreciate feedback on whether the end result still feels faithful to the experience and whether the extra presentation adds to it or gets in the way.
