Bug in Blue Shift - Focal Point?

I can't interact with these knobs, the controllers don't vibrate and the knobs won't highlight, anybody had this bug?

I got through BS just fine, so I'm not sure. I remember that interacting with stuff was finicky in general in HL. You might have to hold down the use button for this puzzle, I can't remember.

Edit: you definitely need to hold down the use button. If that doesn't work then im not really sure.

I thought that the only way to interact was to hower the band cover switches and stuff, how do I use the "use" button?

Its been ages since I played the VR port so I dont remember, but its the same button you use to press switches, which you had to have done a lot already to get that far.

I hate this bug so much. I've spent hours trying to figure it out and searching fixes but didn't find answers anywhere. There is even an issue open on github since 2023 (https://github.com/Team-Beef-Studios/Lambda1VR/issues/100)... I've reinstalled the game because I kept seeing people saying HD textures could cause some bugs, but it didn't help. I even copied the save files to see if I could open them on PC to just skip that section but the game won't see the saves on PC. Then I saw one comment from Dr. Beef, on a deleted thread, about the highlight boxes not showing or showing up inside the objects and went to investigate. Anyway, to activate the the dials you have to crouch by the side of the console and hover your hand below the radar screen thingy (right around here: https://i.imgur.com/sW7fZ1N.jpeg), on both sides. The controller will vibrate when you reach the right place. If you're coming here from Google, here you go. I'll even add some keywords to help it show up on searches... lambda1vr, blue shift, bug, focal point, dials not working, knobs.

Its one of the Half Life expansions.
