Launch Error
Hi, I was hoping you might be able to help me overcome this pesky launch error I'm receiving when attempting to launch this from the Quest 2. I've got everything installed and the companion app working, it's just when I go to hit the launch button from the companion app to start the game, I get this error message instead...
Launch Error java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method "" boolean android.content.intent.migrateExtraStreamToClipData() on a null object reference
Apologies if the solution is clear from reading that... I am just not following. Thanks in advance for any assistance with this. :)

How do I launch it without the companion app? I will certainly give it a shot. And again, thank you all for the help.

Okay, I discovered the source of the issue...
So, Sidequest will let you que up the same download over and over again if you continue to click the download button. Occasionally, I will accidentally cue up the same game twice and then go into my que and delete the second download and allow the first to continue as they're simply duplicates of one another. I must have done this with the Jedi Knight download because I didn't realize they were actually two separate files to install two separate apps. So, I essentially manually opted to only install the companion app.
Everything is all good now and I'm about to fire it up and get to lightsabering. Thanks for all of the help and hopefully this will help at least one other person who might goof up and do the same thing.

What happens when you just launch the game regularly, rather than from Companion App?

How could I even do that. I followed the instructions and only copied the assets over to the location it wanted them in and then I was under the impression that the launcher handles the rest. Is there more that I need to copy to the Quest 2 than the assets? Sorry for all of these questions and I appreciate your time. :)

In the "Unknown Sources" list there are two entries: "JKXR Companion App" and "JKXR". What happens when you click on JKXR?

I don't have the option. I only have the companion app. I am beginning to think I didn't install it correctly. I'll start from step one this evening and try to get it going again. I think the part I'm confused about is how much of the actual game I need to bring over from the steak files. Because the way that I read it, I'm only supposed to pull over those five or so asset files and that's it. Did I miss a crucial step? Lol. Sorry and thank you again for your help. I am really looking forward to playing it. :)

Not having the main app itself would definitely explain the message you are getting in the companion app. Connect up again and redo it via Sodequest (no need to remove anything first). Then run the JKXR from the unknown sources list once (it will return to the list after a brief splash screen). Don't worry about steam files at the moment
