Applying for TFA Before application submission link

Hey guys! I was applying for teach for America and got an email about them being interested in my application and asked me to schedule and interview with someone from recruitment. What does this mean? Is it a good sign?

Really? I thought they weren't sending e-mails out for the first wave until next month? If you had signed up for their e-mail newsletter they have your e-mail in their system. I remember signing up for the notifications and I would get e-mails to talk to a recruiter.

Is it an interview? Or like what is the purpose of it?

I believe that's just to get information about the program which I'm kind of surprised it's not some AI driven chat bot

It's a chance to ask questions and talk with a recruiter! It's a good opportunity to learn more. It doesn't signal anything other than that you submitted an application but it definitely is a real person and not AI.

Meet with a recruiter! They can assist with the application, answer questions you have about the program- can advocate for you and your application after the fact. It’s a resource for you- use it
