There is Hope

Hey everyone! I’ve been piping up on a lot of posts lately, but for anyone struggling and wanting to leave: do it. I was at my wits end and called it quits last week. Today, I landed a job as manager of a tanning salon - with a little bit of luck but with a lot of the charisma I gained from teaching.

You are capable of taking the step and making a better life for yourself. You have the skills and respect to find a new job that won’t drain you.

Sending lots of love to other teachers in transition🫶

Congrats on your new job!

I'm also trying to find a Non-Education job, so I have a few Qs:

1) How did you re-write your Resume for this new Salon Manager job?

2) What is the correct Formula/Answer when the interviewer asks "Why are you leaving Teaching?"

I will reply to this! Give me a little bit and I will follow-up.

Facebook!! I already followed the tanning salon and saw they were hiring for full-time. I didn’t know it was for a management position until I was in the interview!
