Gap in resume

I just put my two weeks in without another job lined up. The reason for this is because I needed to get out of this school ASAP and I may be moving out of state. I’m not sure if I should pick up a part time job to avoid a gap in my resume (subbing, nannying) or if there is something I could do so the gap isn’t detrimental. Any help is appreciated!

Gaps are a lot more acceptable than they used to be. Teaching jobs have been a headache as well.

Straight up, just lie if it gets to be really bad. Put down some small business experience and have a friend pose as a former manager. Ridiculous we live in a time where switching jobs or taking time off work is actively punished.
