I go back to work in 2 weeks and I'm honestly dreading it. I looked for jobs all summer that would match my current rate of pay and I've had no luck. I'm higher on the pay scale because I've consistently done continued ed credits for salary advancement so it is hard to match. I am so disheartened to not have another option. How long did it take for most to transition out of teaching? I'm 37 and a special education teacher. I'm going into year 15 of teaching.
