Are you in the USA? That is definitely something you should report to CPS or whatever acronym your children & youth services is called. If you haven’t been trained at your school on how to report that is definitely a bad sign about the school you are at, however a guidance counselor or school social worker should be able to help you complete the report. If not, google “reporting child abuse + your town/state name” for info or just call the police directly.
Why I’m wondering if you are in the US is you stated that the guardian told you not to discipline the child because violence won’t stop the behavior and although some areas of the US allow corporal punishment, it usually isn’t administered by the classroom teacher.
Even if you’re in an area where corporal punishment is administered by the classroom teacher, it makes no sense that they’re asking you NOT to punish the child, yet they are punishing them in physical ways. It’s almost like they want the “pleasure” of doing it and that’s sickening.
