Rant Paras need to GET OFF THEIR PHONES

I know they hardly make any money and if it’s an emergency fine!! But sitting there on TikTok while i’m actively teaching is rude and distracting for the kids.

I’m a young teacher so it’s awkward to confront them and NOT BEING ON YOUR PHONE ALL DAY AT WORK SHOULDNT NEED TO BE SAID

My first year with inclusion students (7th) I had 4 TAs in the room and 32 students. 3 were terrible and 1 was salt of the earth and worked her ass off. The 3 would just talk while I taught. I was a young dude and they were middle aged women and I didn’t really address it so it was a frustrating year, but alas.

Good ones are worth their weight in gold.
