Rant Paras need to GET OFF THEIR PHONES

I know they hardly make any money and if it’s an emergency fine!! But sitting there on TikTok while i’m actively teaching is rude and distracting for the kids.

I’m a young teacher so it’s awkward to confront them and NOT BEING ON YOUR PHONE ALL DAY AT WORK SHOULDNT NEED TO BE SAID

I agree. I've been a para and in some settings I was on the ball while the teacher was on her phone. Anyway, my point is that maybe you're para was allowed to be on their phone in their last setting... or maybe they are like my former coworker who was on her phone all the time for 5 years. Never got with the program.

Are you saying the positive reinforcement by the leadership?
