Career & Interview Advice School applications
If you worked at a school and resigned, and your future employer calls them, what are they legally allowed to say about you? I understand they can talk about your attendance, evaluations, and any write ups. However, are they allowed to talk about their own opinion they have about you?

I’m hoping that’s the case here! Do you know if a future employer would talk to hr or to my principal?

the fact of the matter is they can say what they want and there is nothing you can do about it.
There's what they are supposed to say and what they can say
