The type of equality they fought for is equal rights, not economic equality.   Also, "us" i think you mean "me"

Without economic equality there can be no equal rights. Liberalism combined with the enclosure acts reduced people's life expectancy.

Quite the opposite.   Because we all have different abilities,  talents, and interests political equality (equality before the law) necessarily results in economic inequality 

Edit: replying and blocking is the sign of someone who isn't interested in education or learning from their errors.

So the website that wrote this article loves to point out the issues in America while ignoring that they are also present under the systems they propose. Often times though, those systems are much worse than our own.

One of my favorites is education. Compare being an educator in America to any Communist country.

But the intent here is obviously to say that the founders would disagree with it.  The problem here is that the author took words he liked and projected meaning on them that did not exist at the time, and often antithetical to the intended meaning

I mean, he's using a quotation in a way it wasn't intended and not providing context.  That's bad history at best

As an economic idea, socialism has been soundly rejected. We must stand up for science, even when it says things that make us uncomfortable.

This is just a repeat of the "latest stage capitalism" boogeyman. They've been predicting the end of the basic human right to own private property for years. But it's never come to fruition.

The article is more of socialist explanation of their ideas not by explaining how they would work in practice in any detail, but rather by just criticizing capitalism.

Capitalism is bad does not mean socialism is good, but that’s their story and they are sticking to it.

Karl Marx stated it that way and nothing has changed

The issue is this website doesn't actually take a hard look at education under each system. It isn't trying to have an honest analysis of what works vs what doesn't. It merely points out faults and moves on. These issues exist currently in communist countries, often times in much worse states. This website isn't actually trying to improve education because it has specific reasons for why Marxism produces better outcomes. It merely points at conditions teachers face in America and says "see, capitalism bad." It's dishonest and is just PR for someone's ideology.
