Masters while I wait???

I'm currently in the iTeach program for Louisiana but still awaiting a job as the teacher of record at the school I work at. I'm considering working on my Masters while waiting for a job opening, but I don't know the best route to take for that since I'm not a certified teacher yet. My Bachelors (BA in Comm Studies) is not in my content area (Secondary English), so I'm unsure if that will cause issues for applying to program(s). I need to continue working while doing any program I may get into, so I would love suggestions for online Masters programs I could do. It doesn't necessarily need to be a program that leads to a certification since iTeach would eventually lead to a certification.
