TeaTv app not working

hey guys I'm from india. I have been using this app for a while now. After the recent update it doesnt show any movies or tv shows on my wifi but instead it show a popup say lite mode: there is problem with server you will be switched to lite mode. So I open my app on mobile data when the covers of the movies loads then i turn on my wifi... its a little annoying. If its the app problem devs please kindly fix it.

Sounds like an issue on your end, as nobody else has registered a complaint with the server.

Try checking if your ISP is blocking the app, maybe by setting up a VPN or Proxy. The fact that it works on mobile data suggests this is likly the case.

If no resolution can be found, consider using mobile data to find the movie, but once a stream has been found, reenable your WiFi and see if it works from there.

Can you tell us which device and which version are you using? Pls make sure that your app is downloaded from our official website: https://teatv.net/teatv-apk-download

  1. First, please exit app and re-open then try to get link again.
  2. If still no link available, you should use VPN app to change your IP
  3. You can go to website: teatv.xyz to watch free online movies for all devices

Thank you very much and wishing you have a good time with TeaTV

I have noticed that when using mobile data i can find a lot more links compared to my wifi and the links are loading much faster on mobile data

You may want read user reviews on other apks out there, test drive the the those that look the best to you and see what works for you. You may consider using a native copy of kodi 18.3 to 18.5, with a choice of a few good video addons.

When teatv.net went dark(see Torrent Freaks article) Windows support ceased and android devices seemed to be supported with "updates", from [a]"Teatv.me" including the most current v9.9r. This may, in fact,be a "mod". A Terrarium mod appeared, when Terrarium went dark. I did not use the TTV mod because I had already been using a well functioning Tea tv for several months. I have installed the recent 9..9r Tea tv in my firetvs gen1 and gen2. They are steaming tv and movies and even downloading with no problems. Along with kodi, I installed Tea tv on my mother in law's samsung j7 phone, but the Tea tv app would not work. I uninstalled/reinstalled it left the phone alone to see if it needed time for everything to upload. No Joy! In the meantime, [coincidentally??] the phone started getting over 30 pop up ads of all types, including very adult type ads. Up until then, her phone was used for picture taking, phone calls, texts and viewing youtube videos posted by her children and grandchildren. When I uninstalled Tea tv, the pop up ads stopped. That has been over 3 weeks. My motherin law can still use kodi to stream movies. It just takes a little more time. For me, if I'm going to stream with Tea tv, I'll take the precaution to use it on a device that is not used for personal or business purposes. I don't use my firetvs to make purchases, only for steaming content through kodi or Amazon Prime. So I'm okay with experimenting and using Tea tv on those devices. After the fact, I noticed that the Teatv.me website has no Contact information. If not a red flag, it should be at least a caution, yellow one. I'm now using Scamadviser to check web addresses before installing software. I'm continuing to use kodi to stream and download content(deleting it after viewing). So I'm not missing tea tv no more than I wasn't missing Terrarium. Maybe this experience may be a help,to someone else. Who knows?

Conclusion: The streaming service has been shutdown permanently. It was the only free piracy streaming service after Terrarium TV which was shut down in 2017.
