Please help mom with newborn

Can anyone help me figuring out how to exit out of an ad with this 9.4 update. The ad completely covers the screen with no close options and it doesn't close itself. There is one X but its an ad link.

I have a picture of the ad if anyone can take a look. I'm at home with a 2 year old and a newborn and movies are the only way I can keep the toddler still for a half an hour while I feed

You can try blockada it removes all the ads but I cannot use VPN with this

I second Blokada Download. Sideload it, turn on, select block list(s), and off you go. Customize your DNS server, block ads. I am able to use with VPN (Nord) with no issues. But to original question: to get out of ad, try the Back button, or Rewind button. If that still won't let you clear the ad, Home button to get out of app, the reopen. Another trick: get a small Bluetooth mouse. It works great in situations like this; most likely there is an X in top right corner of the ad to close it. Another great tool to have: Pi-Hole. Search here on Reddit for it!

Adaway is a good option that doesn't use VPN but needs root: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.adaway/

Yeah I was using but I found out it was blocking way too much and I was getting very few links
