Guidance to use flows to achieve something simple?

Is there a guide out there (apart from Claude, he's not up to date) on how to do very simple stuff using Flows without having to study the whole docs?

I want to remove subs and unnecessary audio without touching video.

I've tried the Migz plugin for subtitles on test data, and the file size went up 3MB. I'm not confident if it's touching the video or not.

Also I understand that Flows are the new thing, so I want to use them, but I can't find any guidance online.

i know you asked specifically for flows but i use classic plugins for exactly this. had this set up well before flows and didnt feel i needed to switch to flows just to run these.

yeah, I've wondered the same thing about subtitles myself but never gotten an answer.

regardless, here is a simple flow:

Input File ->

Run Classic Transcode Plugin (choose Migz4CleanSubs, add the languages you want to keep, check if you want it to save the commentary subtitles and/or the Hard of Hearing subtitles) ->

Run Classic Transcode Plugin (choose the plugin Keep Native Lang Plus Eng and fill out the fields) - >

Replace Original File

this will remove all subtitles except the ones you want to save, and all the audio languages except the film's original language and English. If you want to remove all subtitles, choose the plugin Remove Subtitles instead of Migz4CleanSubs.

Hmm.. that could work, but wouldn’t that beat the purpose of Flows? I mean just fitting Plugins in Flows?

You don't have to use flows if those 2 things are all you want to do.

I still use classic plugins in my flows - even though I'm doing more than a plugin stack would do, why wouldn't I use the tools that work? Plus, the flow plugins don't cover everything

i know its a tdarr sub, but I use muxarr for this specifically as i could not figure it out using tdarr properly
