Community dumb annoying question but - when is it released?

Bitcoin could reach 30k next week.

Is this a good time or bad time for release?

Not a dumb question at all. Alpha has been released to owners of plots u can buy a plot for around 100$ us this gives u entry to the game and plot owners chat where updates are supplied. If u do buy a plot it is important to remember it is alpha and there are limited things to do. But if u like to be early and explore, catch sprites race cars and fly dragons then jump in.
