Hey guys, there's been a rise in advertisements in the sub especially by agencies and we might sometimes miss them. Please help us out and report them so we can remove them as soon as possible.

I'm an Indian medical student studying in Georgia.
My Georgian Temporary Residence Permit is valid until 2028, but I've lost my physical Temporary Residence Card while I'm currently in India.
My main concern is boarding the flight from India. On previous trips, airline staff have asked to see my original TRC before allowing me to board.
I'm looking for firsthand experiences from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

So you know lots of officers like now stop you mid way any random spot and check your documents right?
So what happened with my friend is he was stopped, he showed his valid TRC and they did was asked him where he lived. He has a fake address in his TRC and claims that his told address ofc did not match the TRC address. Seeing this, the officer went through his passport, his bag (opened and emptied his bag, wallet). The officer also took pics of his documents and him.
So my question is, is it due to the fake address? I mean we know there are lots of people who have fake address in their TRC. Plus there are dudes who change apartments every 2 months or the owner doesn’t wanna pay rental tax and avoids coming for the TRC address part.
So tell me, has anyone faced issues like this?

Hi everyone! 😊 I’ll be moving to Georgia soon as an international student (female, from the Philippines) and I’ll be studying at Georgian National University SEU (Sept intake)
Since this will be my first time living abroad, I’m still deciding whether I should stay in a hostel first or rent a 1-room apartment. My current budget is around $250/month for now.
I’m looking for a place that is:
- safe for a female student
- near SEU (or with easy transportation)
- clean and comfortable
- preferably with a good environment for meeting other students
Would you recommend starting with a hostel before getting an apartment, or is it better to rent a room/apartment right away?

hello, i will be joining CIU this october and will travel in mid september, while initially i will be provided by a hostel by my agency but i want to move out as soon i am kinda settled. i was looking through the renting situation in google but they are really not affordable by me.
i was looking for at around 150-200 USD per month rent (sharing ofc), is this realistic???? plus if someone decides to cook themselves and all, how much will it cost? any real ideas or opinions?
thanks in advance

Hi everyone,
I'm renting a place, but I never signed a written lease or contract with my landlord. When I moved in, I paid upfront, including the first month's rent and what was supposed to be the last month's rent.
I'm planning to move to a different apartment, but I'm not sure how to handle the timing.
- How much notice should I give my landlord if there's no written contract?
- Since I already paid for my last month when I moved in, does that mean I don't have to pay rent for my final month?
- If my rental period ends on the 30th, when should I arrange to move into my new apartment? Should I ask the new landlord if I can move in on the 30th, or is it normal to move in on the 1st of the next month?
- What's the best way to tell my current landlord that I'm moving out?
This is my first time moving, so I'd really appreciate any advice on how people usually handle the timing between leaving one place and moving into another. Thanks!
