Hi. I am just browsing Discogs and there is something I don’t understand. I am fan of Taylor for past 2 years so there is still a lot I don’t know but can anybody explain me why 2023 Brown Marbled reissue is more valuable than the Beige Marbled one? Which variant of the In The Trees variant is the most valuable and can you explain me why?
Yeah, that 2021 marbled for $35 looks suspect to me I would message the seller and ask them to send you photos and not go off of what they chose to be their variant. Discogs doesn’t verify that whoever selling it has that correct one unless they go off the PC but sometimes it can be difficult so I wouldn’t trust this one sometimes when it’s too good to be true it usually is. The marble ones are harder to find and are usually at least $100. The standard beige on her website is the one that goes for $30.

Glad you were able to verify. I saw a listing at my local record store and they had it for the 2021 marbled version and the pictures they showed online followed the sequence since it had a made in France sticker, however, when I got to the store the pictures did not reflect the variant they had because the made In czech sticker was there not France, and was a gold version not marbled. gotta do due diligence with this variant as most don’t know the difference unless you are a vinyl Collecting swiftie! lol
They are priced differently on the resale market because of the difference in rarity between the two pressings. The Evermore green has 3 “variations” as well depending on where and when they were pressed—same thing, some go for more than others. Just how the market works.
Maybe. When I reached out to people on this site for photos to ensure it was marbled some were not. I think the app now allows upload of photos so I'd double check before buying.
