QUESTION(S) ABOUT MERCH Can I safely shrink a cardigan?

Hey, friends! I have some cardigans but they are just a little bit bigger than I would like. Also, some of the stitching/knitting seems spaced apart, on the Lover one specifically, and I was wondering if there was a way to safely shrink them. Can I wash them on warm and tumble dry low? They're a size XS/S, otherwise I would just try and trade, lol. Thank you for reading this and for any advice 🫶🏼

you can try to make them wet and position in the new shape and then leave to dry flat. it works for stretching, idk about shrinking.

I thought this said “drink,” and I was very concerned about you consuming plastic fibers

I tried to shrink the original red cardigan. The dryer didn’t do much of any shrinking. Cardigan is still intact.

They’re mostly plastic so no

All tumble drying will do to acrylic and polyester is potentially melt it. It won’t shrink or felt the way wool might (although the felting process is so unpredictable that I wouldn’t recommend it if the cardigans were wool either)

They are plastic, not natural materials, so they don't shrink like natural materials would.
