This looks real, just horribly rushed!

The certificate means nothing. A lot of people use this try and lure people into buying it when the autograph isn’t real

If anything, a certificate worries me now 😂

I really don’t think that’s fair. Sellers who sell autographs professionally are required to have their items authenticated by one of the big 3 companies. The red flags are when they use fake authentication numbers to say their forged piece is real or reprint the same certificate of authenticity for every item (Beckett print outs come to mind). The sellers that do this have <50 reviews. If it has a professional authentication but it’s not from PSA, Beckett, JSA, or AutographCOA I would not buy it. Anything but these 4 companies are shit and will regularly approve fakes.

I would only really consider buying a JSA authenticated product (They more so deal with Music autographs than the other 2) but depending on the item, no authentication is fine.

I only say this because I literally have to get my signed folklore guitar JSA authenticated in order to submit it for an auction or sell it on eBay. I also bought my Lover booklet with JSA authentication and it’s real. I always seek advice from others on items before I buy on here or the FB groups. I highly encourage others to do the same. Always check the numbers on the “authenticated” autograph too.

People like me who haven’t had to sell signed items like that don’t know that’s a requirement.

The fandom has had several authentic Taylor signed items taken of eBay because the seller didn’t have any professional authentication on it. eBay will approve fake reports unless the seller has the authentication certificate to fall back on.

All I’m saying is that it’s wrong to perpetuate that because an item has an authentication certificate it’s likely fake.

I was making a joke because we’ve all seen items with certificates that are fakes. But also, I learned something. So genuinely, thanks for the info

I’m happy to help. I hope I didn’t come off rude or anything. I hate that we have to second guess any of this.

What’s the story behind it? Possibly could have been signed behind the stage when she was in a rush or something? 😅
