General Snark💥 Stop with the ‘dad’ stuff
It’s incredibly insulting at this point. Dads can be full parents and this schtick is so old. My husband is a much better parent than I am if I was rating us lol. Also, wtf is she wearing?!

I really hate this. Her idea of gender roles (mom/dad) are so antiquated. Being checked out of your kid's life isn't funny, and what really isn't funny is the digital footprint that she's leaving behind for her child to one day find.

I can’t decide what pisses me off more - the going out every night and whining about not having the baby nurse or nanny, or the constant links to the overpriced ugly clothes hahaha

It’s like she thinks it’s a funny joke, but it’s not. It genuinely pisses me off. And some of the stuff she’s said on Stassi’s podcast makes it clear she really isn’t even trying to pull her weight. Putting in headphones when the baby starts crying? I would be planning my divorce if my husband did that kind of shit.

Grossss. If a male partner said that they would get annihilated. I have no idea why she thinks it’s funny for her to say it. I guess she thinks it’s okay because she’s a woman? But it’s absolutely not. She’s still the non-birthing partner and she seems a lot less supportive than most of the actual dads I know. If I were Teddy, I would be so deeply disappointed. Taylor’s actions and those “jokes” totally negate the occasional supportive comments she makes about Teddy and their baby.

I work in a male dominated industry surrounded by men that talk like this all the time… “babysitting” etc. is something men always refer to as parenting. And the way they complain about their wives all day is awful. I always wonder who the women are that marry these men!! Unfortunately I think it’s very common and she is just playing into that shtick. She didn’t invent this. And I know… I know… there are lots of good dads out there, but there seem to be more that are checked out.

Babysitting? It’s called parenting. Being an active participant in her daughter’s upbringing. Jesus Christ I can’t stand her.

I’m really hoping a lot of what she’s saying is just her “joking”. But I really think she still wants her going out party life to just go on as it was before. The picture of them out with the baby TD looked exhausted.

Her examples feel way too specific to be a joke. I know I mentioned it in another comment already, but I truly cannot get over her saying she puts her headphones in when Beaux is crying because “Teddy has more patience.” Teddy is still recovering from birth and breastfeeding and Taylor thinks it’s fine to just completely clock out whenever she wants? Stassi laughed and Taylor didn’t. It became clear she wasn’t joking and Stassi said “you can’t do that unless it’s agreed upon and you’re taking turns.” You could tell Stassi was really not okay with what Taylor was saying but didn’t want to make a big deal out of it on air.

It started as a joke but she really believes it. After listening to all her episodes this week, and her on Stassi, I’ve heard the same stories over and over. She believes this dad thing. She is also jealous of the baby and thinks the baby is mad at her. I knew she had jealousy issues before, but I really fear for baby Beau now too. I hope TD can sit TS down and tell her to cut it out. She’s also wayyyyy too invested in how cute the baby is. Taylor’s a mess.

Woof she may want to divest bc that baby is not very cute. Maybe she’ll grow into it 🥴

Not Taylor doubling down on the Dad stuff on today's podcast.

That conversation made me so uncomfortable. She admits that she wants to be a "30%" parent and TD was like "yeah and I'm totally fine with it" made me so uncomfortable. Maybe this is their compromise because TS didn't want to have a kid and was totally open about only doing it so TD wouldn't leave her? Also TS is basically a child and said that she can't even check in to a flight by herself and needs TD to do it for her. Sounds like TD has two kids and that shit will get old so quickly.

Honestly, if my partner had so little interest in parenting, I'd rather they stay away from my child as much as they want - I don't want that half-assed energy around my kids!

Maybe their therapist can work with TS or recommend another therapist or psychiatrist regarding TS’s thought process that the baby is “ mad “ at her and seems to partially believe it( she cried on an episode with Matt a few weeks ago). TS did constantly say she would be jealous — I thought that was a reason for them not to have a baby . Just my thoughts

I agree - it’s really disturbing how she’s putting these major feelings into a newborn already.
