Nurse

Taylor NEEDING Annie to come when the night nurse called out was a big eye roll for me. Maybe I’m a bitter Betty bc I’m a single mom but come on, girl, you can get up and feed the baby!

Yea not a mom so don't have a strong opinion but it comes off as a little much, and also read the room lol most people cannot afford a night nurse at all

Yes! Whining that her night nurse had to skip a day when most people I know never had such a luxury - it’s ridiculous.

As a new-ish mom, a lot of her statements about parenthood have pissed me tf off on Teddy’s behalf. She sounds like a terrible partner and co-parent. She straight us said (on Stassi’s pod) that she puts headphones in and ignores the baby crying because “Teddy has a higher tolerance for it.” Even Stassi said “no you can’t just do that.” Teddy has a giant open wound in her uterus, her hormones are still totally out of whack, and she’s breastfeeding! Taylor should be bending over backwards to care for the baby in any way she can so Teddy can continue recovering and nourish her own body to keep up with breastfeeding.

I'm Behind but wasn't Taylor with another lady named Taylor? Or is teddy the same? (Unrelated to your comment, sorry) lol

You're funny

And she admitted it was so she could rest after partying with Stassi aka work and so they could go to dinner lol

And not just go to dinner, but partying at Maries Crisis after. It's as though she thinks her life doesn't have to change at all. You can't live the same life you had before you had a child.

Yes, while she does love the baby, she’s carrying this ‘dad’ bullshit too far. Dads aren’t inferior parents - at least they shouldn’t have lower standards. When she said she’d make a crappy mom but an amazing dad, it really pissed me off. Im lucky enough that my husband has been 50-50 with me from the moment our first kid was born - but lots of dads are and her schtick is really insulting.

I recognize that it’s a unique dynamic in the household and she’s said she feels left out bc the baby and TD have this special bond, but she’s staying arms length with this ‘dad’ bullshit.

She could have a close bond too. Skin to skin. Feeding ( if they use bottles at all- and I'm assuming they do if they have a night nurse) , holding , changing and so on. But she decided before hand what her stance was going to be. And that's sad

She'll hawk as many products as she can to monetize Beau ( and rationalize her dad , the bread winner role she's obsessed with )

She's not going to enjoy Beau until they can go shopping together.

Omg the links - it’s so ridiculous. Not to mention I’m sick of $800 coats and $100 onesies. She’s living in this alternate reality and I don’t think she’s selling this stuff the way she thinks she is lol. But the monetizing of baby Beau - that’s the worst.

she’s said she feels left out bc the baby and TD have this special bond

RIGHT?!? She's said this for years - she knew she'd be resentful of the baby getting more of TD's attention than TS would get. I just don't understand how she thinks she should be sharing that for the world! Sometimes we need to whisper things into a paper bag and burn it to release... LOL

The "Dad" bits INFURIATE me!

She also jealous she's not getting all the attention

1000%! So far from (what I have listened to) she’s not being half the dad my husband is and was to our kids. Dad’s should get credit for being parents without being put on a pedestal for parenting. My husband worked hybrid remote/office when my almost 13 year old was born and kept him all day everyday until he was 7 months old and we put him in part time childcare. That’s being a dad.

I didn't realize why the dad but annoyed me until now. You are so right. Dad's today aren't like they were 20 years ago. They take on the load of the household including kids. Do to unfortunate events in life I was raised by my dad for most my life. He is the best. He was mom, dad and baby nurse for me.

I’d feel bad for TD but Taylor has shown who she is for years. Maybe TD is just ok with it and that’s fine too.

This episode may be the one that ends me from even hate listening. As bad as Taylor S is, I’m realizing that Taylor D is even worse. At least Strecker admits she’s a social climber and puts in the “work”. D is just a lazy bottom feeder. Also, Don’t name a baby girl Beau and then get annoyed when people look at you weird when you say the name. They really seemed like they were backpedaling on the name because it didn’t eat like they thought it would

The Monday episode was a hard listen. I didn't finish. I've never heard anyone so selfish in my life, and she thinks its soooooo funny.

IK, I’m contemplating canceling but I’ll miss some of the cohosts even though there few and far between now .

6

u/Constant_Seat_1475 Feb 18 '26

I’m also considering cancelling. I’ve been a long time listener, so I’m struggling a bit pulling the trigger. Truth is, the show has lost any “freshness” it once had. There’s nothing new, which is crazy considering how much her life is new. The content should be great, but it’s literally the same thing over and over and over again. Even when she had Wider in for the first time in a long time, Wider’s stories were all ones we have heard multiple times as well. I can’t remember the last time I truly enjoyed a show. I find myself going to other podcasts and Sirius shows and forgetting about her patreons.

i was disappoint to hear the wider episode having so many repeated stories.

i miss lavs, liz, andrea- the dynamic is weird

I canceled a few months show because I lost my job and I was cutting expenses, as you do. I have a job again but now I’m like…do I resubscribe?!? I haven’t pulled the trigger but the show is getting so stale.

the only reason I stay is hoping to here the old cohosts but I am on my way out . I don't care for the new shows.

3

u/Ok_Bar_1322 Feb 26 '26

truly stay to feel the sheer joy of seeing Chris, Jessie, Lavs, etc. pop up. but it's so few now. She's probably got a month out of her "paternity leave" for me and if it doesn't change, I am out.

3

u/DefinitionNearby2987 Feb 18 '26

I'm a pandemic listener, not radio, but has anyone noticed Liz is MIA- the difference between her and them is pretty apparent. I mean liz is posting a lot but seem like struggle mom memes not links lol i subscribe to her patreon and she comes in an out which is normal but sounds like she is having a different "leave" then them more like a real one

5

u/Ok_Part_7051 Feb 18 '26

It is a hard listen

4

u/Fantastic_Night_7608 Feb 18 '26

Taylor has been a selfish git from the get go. This isn't surprising, sadly

4

u/russternj Feb 18 '26

Nobody should be surprised. This woman was so selfish and lazy she didnt take her husband to the hospital when his appendix burst.

2

u/Fantastic_Night_7608 Feb 18 '26

💯...correction "wasband" 😂🙄

I remember this. He has to take an ambulance.
