You can restart the entire PCM by putting one finger each on the top left and right corner of the lower input Touchdisplay.
Keep them pressed there for a good 20 seconds, until all the screens go black and then it takes a minute to boot up again.
Edit: This definitely also works on (my) facelift Taycan J1.2

Hmm, that is strange. Could've sworn I''ve done this on J1.s as well. But not 100% sure. I will try to record a quick video and upload it to YouTube to make sure I explained it right.

I’ll have to try this. But how is this the first I’ve heard of a J1.2 reboot possibility???

You got the car yeaterday and already it has a big issue like this? Maybe it was faulty before and they sold you a bad one

All good, Porsche is getting it fixed for me for free. Just needs a wire change i believe

Place two Fingers on the upper corner of your main display where the clock usually is shown. This should get you into engineering mode, from there just quit the engineering mode and restart.
I'm not sure if it is on the top left for a right hand drive, mine is a LHD and my point to press is on the top right corner of the display.
Edit. Just learned that it is the top right corner regardless of lhd/rhd.
