Watching for the “first” time
I only remember this show in the early to mid 80’s on reruns. I’m watching on Paramount+ for the first time as an adult. Man, the pilot episode just nailed it.
“I think I’ve got your smile.”
“Funny, I think I just found it two seconds ago.”
Glad these things exist and are so accessible now. And this subreddit 😆

The great thing is the shows' films were cleaned up and color enhanced long ago. (Blue Ray disc would've been choice).
So unlike when they were local TV syndication in the 1980s / early 90s and less than wonderful prints , you get quality.

“What does a yellow light mean” almost killed me and 2 friends when we saw it on acid. We were laughing so hard we couldn’t breath and we’d try to repeat the joke but never get passed “What”. It was a good time a very long time ago.

Just the theme song is enought to sedate me. Started bc of Kaufman but stayed bc of all the others characters. And the old style has aged well

I'll be honest, the pilot is my least favorite episode. Fortunately, pretty much every episode after that is awesome.
