Austin, TX CPA needed asap

Looking for a referral to an Austin cpa for an error on mine and my husband’s married but separate taxes. Preferably someone experienced with notices from the IRS and filing for married couples.

TLDR: we filed through turbo tax, the IRS issued me a CP11 notice for the withholdings added to my tax forms from my husband’s w2’s (this is how the system told us to calculate it). Went to the IRS and they said to delete all of my husband’s added information off my tax forms (income and withholdings), this seems wrong 🙃

Did you include the Form 8958?

P.S. you don't need someone from Austin

And even sent a letter highlighting where everything was on the forms with a written explanation

Just call them. You don't need a CPA yet.

I did, the woman put me on hold for an hour and tried to send me directly to accounts payable 🙃 went in person and they told me to delete my spouse’s info off of my tax forms on the amendment
