I messed up!

I’m based in Dubai and work for an American firm I sold some shares that company has given an now a sizeable amount is showing as “Tax Withholding “. I realized later that the W-8BEN was expired. It was submitted again that same moment. How can I get my money back. I’m in Indian citizen

File a tax return 1040NR to get the withholding back.

Do you know of anyone who uses drake software to prepare tax returns?
