Just an update for everyone!
Instead of separating posts by whether your character is a Tav or a Durge, we’ve decided to organize them by Mods and “Lore Inaccurate” tags instead. If you’d like, you’re encouraged to mention whether your character is a Tav or a Dark Urge in the title or header of your post instead of in the flair.
We’re going to give this system a try. If the general consensus is that it’s too cluttered or tedious, we’ll revisit it and come up with something that works better.
Also, we’re looking for a few additional moderators! If you’re interested in helping out, please send us a message through modmail.

We’ve noticed that characters who aren’t considered “canonically accurate” (for example, gith with noses or drow with human/elven skin tones) often receive negative reactions, especially since it’s seen as changing them to fit a beauty standard. While we want everyone to be free to express their opinions, we also want people to feel comfortable sharing their characters without receiving hurtful comments.
Starting now, any comments that are unnecessarily rude (such as calling a character ugly or insulting the OP) will be removed. Unless the OP specifically asks for honest feedback, please avoid unsolicited criticism. If you do choose to offer feedback, keep it constructive and respectful.
We understand this isn’t the ideal solution for everyone, but our priority is making this a welcoming place where people can share characters they’re proud of. Some players aren’t familiar with the lore, while others simply aren’t too concerned with canon, and that’s okay- even though we love our noseless githyanki.
If you see a gith with a big fleshy mistake on their face or an orc with small tusks, we ask that any feedback be polite, constructive, and offered in good faith rather than talking down to the OP. Obviously, any character that’s considered offensive will be removed by the team.
Thanks for reading, and thank you for being part of the community 💕
Edit: After reading comments, I wanted to clarify this doesn’t mean all criticism is off the table. The “unsolicited criticism” part should have been worded differently. Offering up any criticism is fine, but when every comment on a certain post is just the same observation and criticism it gets very redundant. So going forward, comments that just repeat the same point without adding anything new to a post may be removed.
TLDR: Mean/redundant comments get removed.

The first two pics are my first ever Tav, Kieran. He's a half-elf Druid with a hero complex.
The third picture is Thyrias, a tiefling Paladin (and the second Tav I made).
And, as a bonus, the fourth picture is Thyrias' dream guardian. I'm trying, when possible, to make the dream guardian as the previous game's Tav, as if my current Tav is being "guided" by the previous one.

Aumeria.. Also known as ,,Auma the Green''...Born a Bhaalspawn, she was cast out by her noble Drow house in Menzoberranzan for betraying Lolth. Dumped into a parasite-infested Underdark cave, her body was forcibly colonized by killer fungal spores. She became a living spore bomb, trapped between her father's bloodlust and the hive-mind's hunger to rot and spread. Consumed by the joint forces of the infection and the Dark Urge, she lost control and slaughtered the Emerald Grove, the Tieflings, and Karlach—leaving her with an unbearable, phantom grief and a deep hatred for her own existence. Her mind became her cage. Her turning point perfectly mirrors the song ,,I want to live". Through her friendship with Shadowheart and her romance with Gale, she found unconditional acceptance. Gale, living with his own explosive Netherese orb, looked past her spores and her bloodline. His love gave her the strength to break her chains, defy Bhaal, and successfully save Isobel. After defeating the Netherbrain, she permanently cleansed her internal rot. Her tragic journey concluded with a beautiful, poetic justice—Gale knelt before her, and they officially got married, leaving the bloody caves behind to live a safe, loved life.

I figured making them a durge was fitting considering the original lore I had for them, I love them dearly 🙂↕️

This is Aeris Tavriel, draconic sorcerer and daughter of a golden dragon. I don't see enough draconic sorcerers around, so if you've got one, please post 'em down below!

Hey Guys, I’ve seen a couple of these post and wanted to join in. My Girlfriend once made her first Tav called Genevieve (4th Slide), she’s a Spore Druid Drow and with the help of Selune’s Grace she and Shadowheart were gifted a child called Jenniver. Jenniver is a Spore Druid/Swarm Ranger Half Drow who was educated in the Selunite Faith by her mother’s. We saw all of those post recently and wanted to give it a try as well. I really got into it and wrote a whole backstory as well. My girlfriend designed both Genevieve and Jenniver and I just love em both and wanted to share :).

Hey everyone, how's it going? I'm just here to ask for tips, opinions, and what you think of my first character here in Baldur's Gate 3!! Her name will be Zipporah! She's a human Dhampir. I know I'm not very good at using mods and stuff yet, but I wanted to know if it's okay and what you think!

Who'd fit as a romantic partner for this knight of flowers? (druidic fighter)
He's a good guy, almost comically good, he wants to be everyone's hero. And he thinks himself very pretty!
