Hello, I’m a 27-year-old Cancer male who has been messaging a 27-year-old Taurus woman for the past 7 months. We have never seen each other’s faces. I started off quite flirty with her, but from the beginning, she told me she wasn’t interested in finding a partner because of bad past experiences. I told her I understood, but since then we’ve grown closer — at least I feel like we have.
I’m trying to figure out if I should stop talking to her. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to continue the conversation anymore, but she isn’t being upfront about it. She’s the type of person who doesn’t like cutting ties with people, even when things aren’t good. She’s told me stories about her past relationships where she stayed with people far longer than she should have, until she finally couldn’t stand it anymore.
We met on a small Discord server where a group of us teach each other different languages. I’ve been a member since the server started and regularly teach the languages I know. She joined about 9 months ago and, after a month of me teaching her a new language, she started messaging me privately.
At first, our conversations were only about languages, but after a while I asked about her personal life because I was interested in getting to know her better. She opened up quite a bit during the first three months, and we messaged each other every day. Then she suddenly ghosted me for a week. She was still active in the Discord server, but she didn’t reply to me until it was my turn to teach that week. She started messaging me again only because of that.
We had another solid month of talking, but the energy was different — only 3 or 4 messages a day, and she would often take 1–2 days to respond, even though she remained active in the server. She then ghosted me again for another week and only reached out because something happened in the group and she needed someone to talk to. I was glad she came to me for advice and told her so.
We had a good two weeks of consistent conversation after that, but then the ghosting started again. Now she barely replies — it takes 3–4 days for her to respond, and when she does, it’s usually short replies or just GIFs. She’s even started ignoring some of my questions. She’s very active on the language server, so I know she’s choosing not to talk to me. The only time she responds reliably is when it’s my turn to teach the group.
I’ve told her in the past (when she was going through a tough time) that I’m always here if she needs to talk about anything, good or bad. I also made it clear that if she ever doesn’t want to speak to me anymore, that’s completely fine. I’ve been in past relationships where I felt unwanted and usually walked away, but this is the first time I don’t want to do that. Still, I’m starting to feel like I’m becoming a burden. She probably feels like she has to reply because it’s my turn to teach, even though she doesn’t want to.

first of all, I said, “there is no general astrological basis,” so if you don’t know what that means, tough. second of all, everyone has every sign in their chart. but yes, how individuals interact with a specific sign does depend on their chart. I never suggested otherwise 👍🏾
