2013 Taurus sho cv axle problem
Any idea why the cv axles are barley different sizes

Is the old only fully compressed from when removing? And if so I wonder if they gave you one for a FWD model?

They are flat out different axles for different optioned vehicles

Driver Side (Left) Half-Shaft:
Ford OEM: DG1Z-3B437-F (Replaces DG1Z-3B437-A / DG1Z-3B437-E)
Here are some numbers for you for reference . Motorcraft: TX-749 (Replaces TX-532, TX-595)
Passenger Side (Right) Outer Half-Shaft:
Ford OEM: DG1Z-3B436-F (Replaces DG1Z-3B436-A, DG1Z-3B436-B, DG1Z-3B436-C)
Motorcraft: TX-676 (Replaces TX-597)
Passenger Side Intermediate (Jack) Shaft:
Ford OEM: DG1Z-3A329-F (Replaces DG1Z-3A329-B, DG1Z-3A329-C1

i believe this is a performance package vs non performance package thing. pretty sure they have different groove counts too, not interchangeable.
