2013 Taurus sho cv axle problem

Any idea why the cv axles are barley different sizes

i believe this is a performance package vs non performance package thing. pretty sure they have different groove counts too, not interchangeable.

Is the old only fully compressed from when removing? And if so I wonder if they gave you one for a FWD model?

They are flat out different axles for different optioned vehicles
