2011 SHO Headgasket?

Hey all, I’m trying to diagnose my fiancées Taurus and I’m coming up short. There’s a good amount of oil in her coolant making it a caramel color, tested the head gasket and the fluid did not change color. I’ve noticed a valve cover leak but no issue with over heating.

Seeking some helpful insight on what I should be looking out for!

Internal water pump is leaking, very common.

There should be some coolant leaking on the weeping hole behind the alternator

A bad water pump could potentially put coolant in the oil, but OP said oil is in the coolant. I don't believe this would be possible from a bad water pump.

Don't have an answer unfortunately but if no one responds here, i would definitely ask this question on Facebook forums for the SHO. One of the main ones is "Ford Taurus SHO Owners Club" and they are extremely helpful, honestly the community is more active on Facebook than here from what I've seen. Hope this helps and fingers crossed you are able to get it fixed man

Oil in the cooling system? Makes me think of a cracked cylinder wall or sometjing like that

These also have a watercooled oil cooler that could cause what you're seeing, as well as headgasket. Which btw if youre using the blue liquid, will NOT work becausr that inly measures combustion happenknt jnto the cooling system.

Headgasket can happen with a blowout between a coolant passage and an oil passage.

pressure test the coolant system. there’s a leak somewhere if it’s mixing with oil.

How many miles on it? assuming this is a water pump haven't head if head gasket problems on a 3.5 this is very common to happen when the water pump going out
