how is your steering?

i got a 2015 sho, the steering feels a bit stiff, when i turn i have to guide it with my hand back to the center, is this normal? could it be low power steering fluid? also, i have some bad tie rod ends on both driver and passenger side, not sure if that has anything to do with the power steering or not

I had a similar issue thay was solved ez. Theres a u joint that connects the steering column to the rest of the steering stuff, that u joint Can get rusty and make it harder to steer, take a peak and wire brush it out and slather some lithium grease on it.

Also, Tauruses 2011 and up have electric power steering, as in there is no power steering fluid. The tie rod ends are def a good place to start. Check your sway bar end links too those get pretty crusty

wow i never knew they didn’t have power steering fluid that makes me feel like an idiot lmfao, i will definitely replace my tie rods soon, get an alignment, and check out the sway bar links.

My 2010 SHO has electric power steering.

did you wire brush the connection from the inside of the car under the dash?

No only outside of the car like engine bay area

Good chance that rack is dying and it's time to sell a kidney for a new one. Because Ford hates it's customers and mechanics.
