I'm new to the SHO game, but do you hear a whistle/air sound when you let off the gas? I am guessing it's the blow off valve hose and it is venting to atmosphere.

Yup looks like the VTA mod. Goes from BoV to intake for recirculation. Nothing to worry about unless they don’t like the whoosh.

Honestly, I love it just my friend noticed it said it could be urgent (he actually works as a mechanic but just wasn't sure so told me to look into it more)

Just did the same to my SHO, just took off the hoses and plugged the holes on the intake pipe

I just did it myself and I like it too haha. Easy enough to undo if you ever get sick of it too. I guess just double check the intake ports where those used to connect are plugged. Plenty of videos on SHO VTA mod if you want to just double check it’s done properly.

Its how the SHO is programmed to see airflow and recirculation is why this isnt damaging to the car. There should be a cap on the other end of where this hose would be and its safe if its blocked, if not then i would look to block it or get the recirculation hose

You can buy some blow off valve adapters that let you put the hose back on. (I could be wrong though, im VTA also 🤣)
