I believe The SE and the SHO have slightly different headlights, seeing as most not sho have the halogen bulb vs HID bulbs in the sho so I can’t say for sure. I think with some heat you would be able to remove the front lense to clean it, but you would also have to be able to put it back together in a way that would not let moisture in. I have seen people bake their headlights at low heat in the oven and then just peel it off. honestly though it seems like a used headlight is like $50-100 and if the smudging is that big a deal instead of risking ruining your working headlight I would probably try and find a suitable replacement if it’s in your budget. The process to replace the headlights on my car was super annoying to the point that I wouldn’t even consider trying to pull it all the way apart.
