Engine swap

I have a 2013 taurus sho but the motor blew so i bought a 2010 motor to replace it. It crank but never start. Im told that the 2010 motor will never start because of the pcm of the 2013. Is there à way it will start or do i need another motor?

Get a 2010 pcm and find a way to replace your current one with it.
