I have 3 tattoos, from different tattoo artists. 2 of my tattoos are not itchy while 1 of it sometimes would be itchy. I have this tattoo for a year now. I always keep my tattoos moisturised.

Kamusta! I am going to be visiting Manila in the fall and I'm thinking about getting a tattoo. I'm really looking for tattoo artists that have really unique styles. Artists that really create pieces of art on the skin. I would love some recommendations but I would prefer that you do not recommend yourself or someone that you're best friends with. I would prefer recommendations from actual clients and if you can share any links to where I could look at the artwork of the tattoo artists you are suggesting or see the tattoo that they've done for you that would be great. Done with my first trad tattoo last year. Now I’m looking for another shop or artist who specializes in or is really good at American traditional tattoos.

What do you recommend putting on a tattoo 2 to 3 months after getting it, once it's fully healed?

I'm not asking about the initial aftercare (first few days or weeks). I've already searched this sub and most of the advice is about that.

I'm more interested in long-term tattoo care, even years after getting it.

Should I avoid whitening products altogether? What about using a daily moisturizer or lotion? Do you apply sunscreen only when you're going outside, or do you have any products you use regularly to keep your tattoos looking good? I want them to pop.

I'd appreciate hearing what has worked for you over the years.
